What a busy month August was! It was hot here in Texas and we can't wait until the first cool breeze arrives (it's still 98º-100º! But even with the hot temperatures here, I've been dreaming of pumpkin spice lattes, hayrides, and pumpkins!
It was the first full month of the new Art & Craft Showcase where I coordinate art and craft tutorials that take place Mondays-Fridays each week. It's a group of fantastic art or craft business owners from all across the country who are sharing their own lessons and tutorials inside a FREE private Facebook group.
They have been very helpful in assisting those inside with unique tutorials, supply lists, and tracers. And also with inspiration and the tools needed to create their own one-of-a-kind creations.
It is a fun, supportive community that is becoming a fantastic resource for ideas, community, and fun! We would love to have you if you're not already inside!
We have a very SPECIAL day planned for you on September 17th and it includes giveaways! Visit the Art & Craft Showcase on Facebook today!
And Art & Grace was once again chosen to be a presenter for the Southern Crush Craftathon,™️ a two day, virtual craft marathon that consists of 54 expert crafters sharing their best ideas with you inside a private Facebook group.
I took a metal Dollar Tree™️ truck sign and created a wood base using stained paint stir sticks. I then attached magnets permanently to the wood base so the sign would now be removable.
When fall is over and you find a different metal sign or something else you want to use for the next season, you can remove the fall truck and easily place the new item on instead! This is just one example of the many unique crafts that are presented in this two-day event.
If you haven't been a part of a Craftathon™ yet, you are missing out! Go here to get more info, get into the Craftathon™ VIP group, and more.
And go here to YouTube to see my full 20 minute tutorial for this fun easy craft.
August was bursting full of fall ideas and inspiration and more are coming daily!
Art and crafts have helped so many women reduce stress, increase joy, and find a supportive community and that is exactly what I strive to provide through Art & Grace and through the Art & Craft Showcase.
If you don't already follow Art & Grace on Facebook, do so now!
I'd love for you to subscribe to my email list so you never miss out on any fun or special events.
I hope very soon you get to see the first falling leaves and feel the crisp autumn breeze! Leave me a comment and let me know what part of the world you're in, if your temps are dropping, and what you've been creating recently!
